By uploading a document, you confirm that:

• You own the document or have explicit permission from the owner to process it.
• The document does not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• The document does not contain illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• You are not uploading confidential documents belonging to third parties without their consent.

3. Document Processing & Deletion

Uploaded documents are processed solely to extract and restructure text. They are stored temporarily and deleted automatically within 30 minutes of processing. We do not retain, sell, or share your document contents.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Readable. offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store payment information.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at nils.langer.nl@t-online.de for refund requests.
• Prices are listed in EUR and may be subject to applicable taxes.

5. Intellectual Property

The Readable. service, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Nils Langer. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

You retain full ownership of any documents you upload. By using the Service, you grant Readable. a temporary, limited licence to process your documents solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload documents containing illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service.
• Circumvent usage limits or access restrictions.
• Use the Service for automated bulk processing without prior agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce perfect results. AI-generated output may contain errors and should be reviewed before use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nils Langer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or revenue.
